Before taking on commissions, I assess what the item requires.

Will I need to replace the seat? Reshape the arms? Amend the back? Will I be using modern or traditional materials? Can we recover only? These are all questions I will be asking you before making a joint decision on the workload.

The techniques used for each are substantially different and require a completely individual set of skills.
